Each week the team with the most points will receive $25.
In addition, $15 will be paid to the top 2 players at different positions each week. Tuesday of each week, I will try to post the results of the weekly payouts. The schedule for this year is as follows:
Week 1 - Team High Points / RB / DST
Week 2 - Team High Points / QB / TE
Week 3 - Team High Points / WR / K
Week 4 - Team High Points / RB / DST
Week 5 - Team High Points / QB / TE

Week 10 - Team High Points / RB / DST
Week 11- Team High Points / QB / TE
Week 12 - Team High Points / WR / K
Week 13 - Team High Points / RB / DST
1) Ties split the money
2) No owner can win for more than one category each week
3) For owners who win more than one category they will win for either the category that pays the most, or position listed first in the rules
4) FLEX players do not qualify for high point weeks.
End of season payouts are as follows:
First 50%
Second 25%
Third 15%
Fourth 10%
If anyone finishes the whole season without winning a high point week for a player or their team, they will be awarded $20 for their efforts.
Playoff Challenge - $100 will be withheld from the pot. All owners will compete for all or a share of this $100. Prior to the first NFL play-off game, each owner most select their pick for the Superbowl winner. The money will be split evenly between all the owners who select the correct Superbowl Champion.
Draft Seeding Process
• The team with the lowest winning percentage at the end of the previous season drafts first.
• The rest of the teams are placed in order from lowest winning percentage to the highest.
• The Super Bowl winner drafts last, even if they do not have the highest winning percentage.
• The Super Bowl loser drafts next to last.
• Points against is the first tie-breaker for teams with the same winning percentage (higher PA drafts first).
• Divisional and conference records are the next step in the tie-breaking procedure.
• As a last resort, a coin toss is used to determine the order of selection for teams with the same winning percentage.
• If a playoff and non-playoff team end the season with the same winning percentage, the non-playoff team selects before the playoff team regardless of strength of schedule.
Division Seeding Process
While this method is imperfect I thought it better than a
random draw. I took the top players from each team's draft
selections. One QB, two RB's, two WR's, one TE, one K and
one Defense. I had no way to easily account for a flex
player so I only used these 8 positions. Then I used the
Sportsline.Com fantasy projections (found here: http://arw.football.sportsline.com/stats/sortable/team:all/projections:f/standard
) for each of the 8 best players. The team totals were used
for the seeding.
Division Placement
We use two divisions called Domestic and Import (referring
to beer, not cars). The teams were divided equally creating
two, seven team divisions. Division placement can be found
by going to the Standings page of our web-site
(http://arw.football.sportsline.com/standings).
Schedule
Our fantasy regular season games will span the first 13 NFL regular season games. Our fantasy post season games will span NFL weeks 14 to 16. We do not use NFL week 17.
Each week there will be 6 divisional match-ups
with one inter-division match. Because of the odd number of
teams (per division) and regular season games there are two
profiles for this year's schedule:
Profile A - Plays divisional
opponents twice (except one team is played once) and plays 2
inter-divisional opponents.
Profile B - Plays divisional
opponents twice and plays 1 inter-divisional opponent.
Play-off Seeding
Each division will be seeded separately based on their
regular season win-loss-tie record. Tie breakers will be:
1. Most Points For (PF)
2. Fewest Points Against (PA)
3. Head-to-head (team with the best record in all games
played between the teams tied)
4. If we need another tie breaker....Coin flip.
Play-off Schedule
NFL Week 14 - First Round Play-Offs
Import #1 Seed vs. Import #4 Seed
Import #2 Seed vs. Import #3 Seed
Domestic #1 Seed vs. Domestic #4 Seed
Domestic #2 Seed vs. Domestic #3 Seed
NFL Week 15 - Divisional Championship
Import First Round Winners
Domestic First Round Winners
NFL Week 16 - Superbowl
Import Champion vs. Domestic Champion
Import runner-up vs. Domestic Runner-up (playing for 3rd
and 4th place money)
Rosters
Teams will consist of 9 active players, 2 reserves and no more than 2 injured reserve (3 max for IR and Reserver). Injured reserved status can only be set for players "official" injured per NFL.
Each team may consist of no more than double the players that start at each position. (Up to 4 RB’ and WR’s. Up to 2 QB’s, K’s, DEF’s, and TE’s.) It is YOUR responsibility to make sure you don't violate this rule. Please police yourself, your current weeks opponent and any other teams. If you get a warning (via message board) from the commissioner or any other team, prior to the start of that week's games, you will receive zero points for that week.
Keeper Policy
Pre-Dec 2006: Each team will keep 4 players, but you may not keep more than 2 RB’s or WR’s and no more than 1 QB, K, DEF, or TE.
Effective 2008 Season:
-Each team will only be allowed to keep two players from season to season.
-No post-season trades for previous year keepers.
-You cannot keep more than 2 RB’s or WR’s and no more than 1 QB, K, DEF, or TE.
